About Us
Lynden Skateway is Family Operated & Owned by Brenda VanOrnum.
The original Lynden Skateway roller skating rink was built back in 1946. Brenda and her late husband Pete bought Lynden Skateway & Bowl in 1976. Lynden Skateway & Bowl burned down in August of 1994. Pete & Brenda rebuilt Lynden Skateway, in February 1996. Brenda & Terri (daughter) continue to run a family friendly skating rink. Pete has passed away 8 years ago. Brenda & Terri and staff continue to run Lynden Skateway like a family. The new building is 30 years old. The business of Lynden Skateway, under our ownership is 50 years old and still Rolling! Come Skate With Us!!!
